PML-N leader Atta Tarar has alleged that the PTI was trying to “destroy Pakistan” and invite “foreign interference” in the country.

Earlier, PTI’s Barrister Ali Zafar said that incarcerated party chief Imran Khan will be writing a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today regarding the alleged rigging in the February 8 polls.

Reacting to these remarks, Tarar said the statement was disappointing and condemnable. “Imran Niazi’s party ruined the economy and brought Pakistan to the brink of default,” he alleged in an interview with Geo News.

“See, the purpose of writing a letter to the IMF is inviting foreign interference,” the PML-N leader said, adding that such an action would further weaken the economy.

“They want to derail democracy in the country,” Tarar said.
