QUETTA: The president of PML-N Balochistan chapter, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, has emphasised the need for a national government to solve the pressing issues faced by the country.

While talking to reporters on Sunday, Mr Mandokhail said that to address these issues, the entire national leadership should shoulder the responsibility and work towards forming a strong, trusted, and consensus-based federal government by upholding the principles of democracy.

The PML-N leader added the government should include not only PPP and MQM-P but also other political leaders who should support PML-N and participate in the decision-making.

In this way, decisions could be made with mutual consultation and all parties would share responsibility for their outcomes — good or bad.

The country could only emerge from the quagmire of difficulties through mutual agreement and cooperation, Mr Mandokhail said, emphasising that the survival of state and national security should be the focus of our politics.

He said the state needs to endure challenges to ensure its survival and emphasised the need for consensus, to solve the issues.
