KARACHI: Meeting on milk prices

KARACHI, March 3: In order to control milk prices in the metropolis, the EDO Enterprise and Investment Promotion of the city government has convened a meeting of all stakeholders at the DCO Secretariat’s committee room on March 4.

Renowned economist Dr Qaiser Bengali, representatives of the Dairy Farmers Association, All Pakistan Milk Retailers Welfare Association, Consumers Foundation, Consumers Association, Pakistan Press Foundation and other organisations will attend the meeting.

The meeting will discuss matters related to the soaring prices of milk and its quality control. It will also finalise a strategy to bring rates of milk back to normal.—PPI
