LAHORE: PML-N leader Azma Bukhari says her party has emerged as the majority party in the Punjab Assembly and is in a position to form its government.

Speaking to the media at the party secretariat here on Sunday, she said the people supported the agenda for development by voting for the PML-N, making it the single largest party in the provincial house.

Referring to the independent candidates winning in Punjab and being attributed as “PTI nominees”, she said they could not be considered a party, claiming many of them were joining the PML-N.

She told a questioner that photo-shopped Forms 47 prepared by the PTI were doing rounds on the social media, to mislead the people about the election results.

She said the PTI was not representing the majority voters of the country as 45 million people had voted against the party in the Feb 8 polls.
