ISLAMABAD: Aga Khan University’s Professional Development Centre, North (AKU-PDCN) has trained more than 50 heads of Islamabad’s schools.

As per the ministry of education, more than 50 head teachers benefited immensely from the expertise of the best teacher trainers from AKU-PDCN.

A press release said that during the training, the head teachers were guided on various aspects crucial for modern education.

The sessions covered topics such as leadership development, school development planning, blended learning methodologies, and innovative approaches to integrating humour and different concepts of climate change into education.

The trainers from AKU-PDCN demonstrated a remarkable ability to engage and empower the participants, ensuring that the knowledge and skills imparted were practical and applicable to their roles as educational leaders.

The feedback received from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the effectiveness and relevance of the training content.

“We believe that this training initiative has not only equipped our head teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge but has also inspired them to adopt innovative approaches in their respective schools, thereby positively impacting the overall quality of education in our community,” said a statement issued by the education ministry.

The ministry, through their statement, also extended heartfelt gratitude to the AKU-PDCN team for their invaluable contribution and looked forward to future collaborations for the continued enhancement of educational practices in our region.
