ISLAMABAD, Feb 28: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said on Tuesday the government was working on a comprehensive strategy to provide food items to the masses at reasonable prices across the country.

The government has increased the number of utility stores from 320 to 1100, to ensure provision of basic food items at reasonable prices, he told a delegation including the Nazims and councillors from Hassanabdal here at the PM House. He said apart from the utility stores, the government was providing wheat flour, pulses, ghee, sugar and other items through the weekly bazaars and mobile units.—APP
