KHUZDAR: Two people were injured in a grenade attack on the election offices of the National Party and PPP in Mastung and Mangochar areas, respectively, on Sunday night.

Police officials said an unidentified assailant on a motorcycle lobbed a hand grenade at the National Party’s election office in Mastung town. The explosive detonated near the office, injuring two party workers.

The victims, identified as Ghulam Mohyuddin and Abdul Aziz Shami, were promptly rushed to the district hospital. The assailant managed to flee the scene.

A second grenade attack was reported at the PPP’s election office in Mangochar Bazaar. The grenade also exploded near the office, damaging its portion. However, no one was injured, as party workers were present inside the office at the time of the attack.
