KARACHI, Feb 28: The Anti-Car Lifting Cell arrested three alleged carjackers and recovered eight stolen cars and unlicensed weapons from their procession. Addressing the news conference on Tuesday at the ACLC head office, Acting DIG Investigation-II Mir Zubair Mehmood said that police on some information raided a place near Sharea Faisal and arrested the suspects after a brief shootout. The suspects were identified as Muhammad Nawaz Leghari, Muhammad Razzaq, and Usman alias Ghulam Muhammad.

He said that two of the six vehicles could not be identified as their chassis and engine numbers were tampered. Police also recovered three TT pistols and six rounds from the suspects.
