LAHORE: PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz on Thursday paid a maiden visit to her constituency NA-119 and requested the people to vote for her and in return she will resolve their problems and set up a permanent office.

Speaking at a corner meeting in Singhpura locality, she said she knew the problems of the people of her constituency. “Roads are in dilapidated condition, there is a need for a proper sewerage and gas is not available. This is because no work had been carried out during the last five years,” she said and told them if they voted for ‘lion’ she would set up a permanent office for her here and meet the voters.

Maryam Nawaz further said she stood by her father Nawaz Sharif without bothering about consequences. “You had elected Nawaz Sharif thrice for five years each, but he was removed under one excuse or the other. Even during that short period he carried out massive development,” she said.

Without naming PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, she said a political leader was currently visiting Punjab and claiming that the PML-N did not present its manifesto. “Nawaz doesn’t want to present any manifesto as his work is his manifesto,”she said.
