LAHORE: Governor Balighur Rehman has given the additional charge of the post of University of Okara vice chancellor to Sahiwal University VC Prof Dr Javed Akhtar for a period of six months.

He also nominated Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology Multan VC Muhammad Kamran as member of the Syndicate Government Sadiq College Women University and Sargodha University for three years.

Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences of Lahore College for Women University Prof Humira Majeed was nominated as a member of the Syndicate of LCWU for three years.

The governor also approved the service statutes of the employees of University of Child Health Sciences.
