Eastern Khan Younis has been hit by heavy artillery shelling overnight, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Rafah, southern Gaza.
In southern Khan Younis, air strikes continued to destroy infrastructure and more homes, according to Al Jazeera.
“In western Khan Younis — in Mawasi ‘evacuation zone’ — an Israeli strike hit a displaced family sheltering inside a tent. The death toll from that single strike is now at three — all from the same family,” Mahmoud said.
He added, “Others critically injured are at the Nasser hospital. There is fear more people are under the rubble.”
