KARACHI, Feb 25: The Pakistan Navy’s fleet units conducted a joint naval exercise with the Royal Netherlands (Navy) Ship HNLMS “DeZeven Provincien” which is on route to its next destination after paying a goodwill visit to Karachi.

The visiting ship is a part of the CMCP force patrolling in the Arabian Sea to prevent any act of terrorism.

The exercise was aimed at training and rehearsing operational plans to enhance interoperability and better coordination.

Meanwhile, Commander Task Force-150, Commodore J. W. Ort, who arrived with the visiting ship, called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Afzal Tahir here on Saturday to discuss professional matters.

Earlier, Commodore Ort held meetings with various administrative authorities of Pakistan Navy and visited PN shore units and sea going vessels. —-APP
