TECHNOLOGY AND AGRICULTURE: In today’s world, technologies powered with artificial intelligence (AI), such as precision farming and automated machinery, have streamlined agricultural operations. This not only optimises resource utilisation, but also contributes to sustainable practices by minimising waste. The integration of AI in agriculture marks a significant step towards achieving a more resilient and environmentally conscious food production system. It is important to acknowledge the positive impact AI has on crop monitoring and disease detection. By leveraging advanced algorithms and machine learning, AI can swiftly identify signs of crop diseases or nutritional deficiencies. We need to be proactive in our approach.

INEXPERIENCED TEACHERS: The induction of inexperienced teachers in private schools is like playing with the future of students. Such teachers often lack the essential experience, qualifications and level of maturity that are needed to effectively teach and manage a classroom. Teachers have to perform multifaceted tasks. Along with imparting education, the teachers need to understand the psychology of their students in order to guide them properly.

PEACE AND STABILITY: The recent attack on a passenger bus in the Chillas area of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) has shaken the local community, and raised concerns about the safety and security of those using the region’s transport services. GB is known for its beauty and peace. However, terrorist attacks in the past have damaged the sanctity of the region, and cast a dark shadow over the massive tourism potential of the region. The local and federal authorities should collaborate, and implement enhanced security measures in the region by increasing the number of security personnel, and conducting regular patrols and comprehensive screening procedures.
