ISLAMABAD, Feb 24: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched a week-long “sports administration and management training course” for sports officials of the public-sector universities and degree-awarding institutions of Pakistan, Director-General Sports HEC Talat Khurshed said on Friday.

This course has been arranged at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and over 30 sports officials from all over the country are attending it, a press release said.

Director-General Sports HEC Talat Khurshed inaugurated the programme.

He highlighted the role of Pakistan University Sports Board in the uplift of sports in universities of Pakistan. He said the HEC had planned more courses to be organized during this year at various universities.
