DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unknown assailants attacked the Yarik interchange on Saturday night, while JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s convoy was passing through the same route.

Regional Police Officer Nasir Mehmood Satti said that unknown miscreants attacked Yarik Police Station, but the police promptly responded and repelled the attack.

According to RPO, no casualties were reported. The JUI-F spokesman confirmed that Mr Rehman was not present when the incident took place and he is safe.
