KARACHI, Feb 23: President Pervez Musharraf made a phone call on Thursday to Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) chief Pir Pagara to inquire after his health. Pir Pagara is at the Aga Khan Hospital recuperating from recent asthma complications.

The president also exchanged views with him on national issues.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz also called Pir Pagara and inquired about his health, a spokesman for the Kingri House told Dawn on Thursday night.

Pir Pagara had a walk and carried out his usual exercise on Thursday for the first time since his indisposition last week.
