Faisal and Hasan named skippers

KARACHI, Feb 22: Faisal Iqbal and Hasan Raza will lead Karachi Dolphins and Karachi Zebras in the Twenty20 Cup cricket tournament, which starts from Friday at three venues of the city.

The Karachi Dolphins include paceman Mohammad Sami and batsman Asim Kamal.

They finished runners-up to Faisalabad Wolves in Lahore last year under the captaincy of Moin Khan.

Shahid Afridi and Danish Kaneria are named in the Karachi Zebras squad.

Afridi, however, is nursing a rib injury which he suffered during the third ODI against India in Lahore.

Misbahul Haq will lead defending champions Faisalabad Wolves in the event with all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez as his deputy.
