Bandits shoot man to death

LARKANA, Sept 30: A man was killed when bandits fired at a Shahdadkot-bound car, late Saturday night.

Syed Manzoor Shah, Syed Ashique Shah and one unidentified person were going in the car to Shahdadkot from Garhi Khiro when bandits signalled them to stop, but the car driver tried to speed away.

The bandits opened fire at the car, wounding Manzoor Shah critically. He died on way to a Larkana hospital. The bandits fled the scene.

CASE REGISTERED: The Civil Lines police on Sunday registered an FIR against five people for being allegedly involved in a double-murder that took place on Saturday.

The murder case of policeman Ahmed Ali and Nizamuddain Khoso was registered against Mohammed Alam, Mohammed Saeed, Mohammad Saleem, Bashir Ahmed Vhatti and Ahmed Ali Rind. The police have arrested one of the suspects.
