KARACHI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday claimed to have arrested a suspected militant belonging to the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

A CTD spokesperson identified the suspect as Izaman Asfandyar Khan and claimed that he was the chief of the TTP in Matta, Swat.

He was also involved in an attack on the residence of former federal minister Afzal Lala in Matta.

The CTD said that he was involved in multiple attacks on army, police and FC.
