Hundreds more Palestinians were killed as Israel continued its offensive in the Gaza Strip’s biggest cities on Thursday — 350 people according to Gaza health ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qidra.

According to Reuters, Israel said its forces killed a number of gunmen in Khan Younis, including two who it said emerged firing from a tunnel.

The United States and ally Israel oppose a ceasefire because they believe it would only benefit Hamas. Blinken is due to meet top diplomats from Arab states, including Egypt, today in Washington.
