Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has urged Muslim leaders to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

Speaking at a rally in Islamabad, he said that Israel has lost since the whole world stands in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

“And yet, so many world rulers are still silent [on the conflict in Gaza] because they are afraid of American supremacy,” he said.

“Gazans are fighting a jihad, they are fighting for their land and their honour,” Haq said. “Muslims are obligated to stand with them in their struggle.”

He reiterated Pakistan’s support for the people of Gaza and urged the boycott of Israeli products and companies.
