ENCROACHMENTS REMOVED: The tehsil municipal administration on Thursday began an anti-encroachment campaign and removed illegal structures both temporary and permanent from Mansehra city and its outskirts.

A team led by chief officer of the TMA’s anti-encroachment department Mohammad Asif carried out the drive on the Abbottabad Road, Kashmir Road and Shinkiari Road, and shifted the seized goods to the main godown of the municipality.

It also eliminated illegal staff from the roadside and footpaths, and seized goods.

The TMA warned shopkeepers against encroaching on its land.

Tehsil municipal officer Mazhar Khan Awan told reporters that the anti-encroachment drive would ensure smooth flow of vehicular traffic.
