FC personnel injured in blast

QUETTA, Feb 19: A personnel of the Frontier Corps was seriously injured in a landmine explosion in the Fazal Chal area of the Kohlu district on Sunday.

Rockets were also fired at Frontier Corps checkposts in Dera Bugti area. The FC personnel, Islamud Din, was injured when he stepped on an anti-personnel mine during routine patrolling in the area.

Sources said that a number of rockets were fired at FC checkposts in Sangsilla and Ghori Nullah areas, but the rockets missed their target.—Our Staff Correspondent
