Israel, Hamas agree to extend Gaza temporary truce for another day: report

The Wall Street Journal, citing Egyptian officials, has said that Israel and Hamas had agreed to extend the truce for an eighth day in a deal that will involve the release of more Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.

Reuters could not immediately confirm the report and there was no immediate comment from Israel or Hamas.
