Seema new ambassador to Poland

ISLAMABAD, Feb 18: Pakistan on Saturday announced the appointment of Seema Ilahi as ambassador to Poland. Ms Ilahi holds master’s degree in English literature and public administration.

She joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in March 1977, served at the headquarters as section officer (1977-1983) and as director (1987-1988 and 2001-2004).

She served at the Pakistan mission in Brussels (1983-1987) and was promoted as director general at the headquarters in December 2004, where she has worked since 2001.—APP
