A snap poll by Gallup Pakistan has revealed that 91 per cent of Pakistanis align their sympathies with the Palestinians of Gaza, while only 2pc report siding with Israel.

“Despite the adverse conditions a majority of Pakistanis (66pc) remain hopeful that Palestinians have a greater chance of success in this war between Israel and Palestine,” it stated.

The poll added that nearly 7 out of 10 Pakistani, amounting to 67pc, are extremely critical of the US government and feel the US has a negative role in the ongoing crisis.

“Nearly 3 out of 10 Pakistanis (31pc) also do not look favorably upon the policy of their own country regarding the ongoing Israel-Palestine war,” it added.
