NAWABSHAH, Feb 16: The second additional district and sessions judge of Nawabshah on Wednesday jailed for life two persons in Shoaib Hameedi murder case.

Justice Masood Ahmed Korejo awarded life imprisonment and fine of Rs100,000 each to Rizwan Brohi and Murad Brohi.

The judge also awarded 10-years imprisonment and Rs10,000 fine each to Rizwan Brohi, Murad Brohi, Manzoor Brohi and Subhan Brohi for barging into Shoaib Hameedi’s house and attacking him.

It may be mentioned that Shoaib Hameedi, a former leader of Awami League, and was murdered on May 7, 2002, in the Mirza Ali Hassan Baig village near here.

He was a close companion of Shaikh Mujeebur Rehman, G. M. Syed and Khan Abdul Wali Khan.
