Pakistan has urged the backers of Israel to stop the Israeli occupation from implementing its plans of “ethnic cleansing” of the Palestinian people.

In a weekly press briefing today, the Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahrah Baloch said Israel was deliberately making Gaza uninhabitable for its civilian population by crushing civilian infrastructure and symbols of self-governance in the enclave.

“As demanded by the Arab-Islamic Summit, all countries must stop exporting weapons and ammunition to the occupation authorities that are used by their military and settlers to kill Palestinian people and destroy their homes, property and civilian infrastructure,” she said.

“We once again urge the international community to act swiftly collectively and meaningfully to stop the ongoing aggression by occupation forces and hold Israeli accountable for war crimes perpetrated in the Palestinian territory,” Baloch added.
