MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 1: The ban on employment in the AJK Government departments has been lifted with immediate effect.

A decision to this effect was taken by the AJK cabinet which met here on Friday with AJK Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan in the chair. The cabinet, however, decided to continue the ban on creation of new posts. Adjustment of employees available in the surplus pool will be the top priority in all appointments.—PPI
