SWAT: Two persons were killed and 21 others injured in a road accident here on Sunday, the police said.

Kabal police officials said a van going to Mingora from Pinorai area of Kabal fell into a ravine due to brake failure near Char area, killing two persons on the spot and injuring 21 others.

The deceased were identified as Sudais, a young girl, and Zainullah.

The injured were shifted to Kabal Hospital, wherefrom four were shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, a man was shot dead in Narajpura area of Kabal.

The police said Shah Hussain was going home when unknown persons fired at him, killing him on the spot.

The police handed over the body to heirs after postmortem at a hospital. Published in Dawn, November 6th, 2023
