At least two Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire in the town of Abu Dis, East Jerusalem, according to Palestinian News Agency Wafa.

“Two young men were shot dead by Israeli forces while six others were injured in the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem,” it said.

“Large forces from the occupation army stormed the town of Abu Dis, surrounded a house which caused violent confrontations in the place,” Wafa quoted eyewitnesses as saying.

It added that Israeli forces also “demolished parts of the besieged house before firing an Energa shell at it, which led to the death of the young man trapped inside the house”.
