The government media office in the Gaza Strip has said Israel is deliberately targeting refugee camps as it desires to “increase the human cost” in the besieged enclave, Anadolu Agency reports.
It said Israeli raids on densely populated refugee camps of Jabalia, Al-Shati and Al-Maghazi left many killed and wounded as well as the massive destruction of dozens of residential units.
The recent episode of airstrikes is “a new confirmation of the occupier’s desire to increase the human cost for the victims of this brutal aggression”, the statement added.
