QUETTA, Feb 13: The Balochistan government has decided to send corruption cases instituted against government employees to the anti-corruption department along with relevant record.

This was decided in a meeting of the Provincial Anti-Corruption Council held here on Monday. The meeting, presided over by the Chief Secretary K.B. Rind, reviewed various cases of corruption in different government departments.

The chief secretary criticized the delay in implementation of decisions taken in the council’s pervious meeting and directed the officials concerned to immediately send these cases to the anti-corruption department.

It was decided that the Provincial Anti-Corruption Council would hold its meeting after every fortnight to review the progress on corruption cases.

Secretaries of departments, whose employees were facing corruption cases, attended the meeting.
