Palestinian Foreign Minister Dr Riad Malki has said Israeli “settlers’ terrorism continues” and that they have “been armed by the occupying army and supported through legislation drafted by the killer themselves”.
In a post on X by the foreign ministry, he said the Israelis’ aim was to “terrorise [Palestinian] citizens and prevent them from accessing their fields and harvesting their olives”.
His statement comes amid reports of the Israeli government planning to pass a law that would permit “police officers to shoot at protesters ‘obstructing roads or town entrances’.
