White House spokesperson John Kirby, in response to a question on President Joe Biden’s comment that he has “no confidence” in the Gaza death toll, said: “We would not dispute that.”
However, Kirby also said the US administration does not trust the ministry’s figures, suggesting that they may be “inflated”.
