Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US and the United Nations, has said “all eyes” are on the UN General Assembly now where Jordan will move a resolution on the escalation in Gaza.
In a post on X, she pointed out that the UN Security Council was “paralysed by its deep divisions” as two rival resolutions by the US and Russia had failed to pass.
