Al Jazeera Arabic journalist Wael Dahdouh has said that Israeli forces attacked his family in the southern Gaza Strip, where they travelled to after evacuating their home in the northern Gaza Strip following Israel’s order to evacuate.

“What just happened is clear; it’s part of the ongoing targeting of women and children in Gaza. I was just reporting on the Israeli strikes that have targeted the Nuseirat area,” he was quoted as saying by Al Jazeera.

“We knew the Israeli occupation would not leave us without punishing us. They are taking out their revenge onto the children. But our tears are human, not out of cowardice,” he added.
