In a joint press conference with Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan warned that “Israeli ground operation in Gaza will turn fighting into a massacre”.
He called for an immediate ceasefire and that an urgent humanitarian corridor needed to be opened for the Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the Qatari minister condemned the “collective punishment policy for Gaza”. “We want all regional actors to act together with us so that a permanent peace can be established.”
