ISLAMABAD: Mari Petroleum, Wapda, Pakistan Rangers and Pakistan Air Force registered dominant victories as the second day of the 67th National Hockey Championship witnessed lop-sided matches at the Lt Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmed Hockey Stadium Rawalpindi on Friday.

Mari Petroleum registered a flawless 15-0 victory over Gilgit Baltistan as Arshad and Sufyan starred with four and three goals, respectively.

Rangers crushed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-B 7-0 with Tauseef Iqbal scoring a brace, Wapda thumped Islamabad 14-1 and Pakistan Air Force outclassed Sindh-B 8-0.

The only closely-contested match of the day saw Police edge Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-A 3-2 thanks to two goals from Zahid Khan.
