KOHAT: A deranged woman killed her two minor sons by slitting their throats in Karbogha Sharif area of Hangu district on Thursday, the police said.

They said Maaz, husband of Hina Bibi, 22, informed them about the incident, after which they visited the scene and collected evidence.

They said the woman had sliced the throats of one and a half years old, Suleman, and three and a half years old Azmat with a knife.

They said the man, who was not present at home at the time of the incident, brought his wife to the KDA Teaching Hospital, Kohat, where she was being examined by doctors in police custody.

The police registered a case against her.
