RAWALPINDI: Hundreds of students held a rally here today [Oct 9] to demonstrate their solidarity with the Arabs in the fight for the liberation of the Arab territories occupied by Israel. They marched in a procession from Gordon College raising slogans in support of Egypt and Syria. A roadside meeting was held near the Committee Chowk at which many student leaders made speeches condemning the Zionist expansionists and hailing the valiant struggle being waged by the Arabs.

In Lahore also hundreds of students took out a procession this morning to condemn the Israeli aggression and called upon the freedom loving countries in general and Muslim countries in particular to extend material and moral support to the Arabs to wipe out Zionism from the holy soil forever.

They called upon the Government to extend whole-hearted support to Arab countries in their Jihad against Israel. They also demanded that a team of doctors should immediately be sent to Egypt and Syria. They declared that the students were ready to take part in the Jihad against Zionist expansionism.
