GWADAR: The Consulate General of China in Karachi has provided essential ration bags to the residents of Gwadar. These bags include rice, flour, sugar, oil, and other urgently required necessities, amounting to 4,000 portions and exceeding 80 tonnes in total.

Two companies, namely Linyi Trade City Overseas Investment (Pakistan) Co. Ltd. with support from China Overseas Ports Holding Company Pakistan Pvt. Ltd., contributed to the donation programme.

They successfully navigated challenges like elevated safety risks, surging prices, power interruptions, and labour strikes in Karachi, where the ration bags were procured. Additionally, they addressed logistical resource shortages and managed to distribute the ration bags in multiple batches.

The donation’s objective is to enhance the quality of life in Gwadar and promote unity within the local communities. In their expressions of gratitude, Pakistani friends conveyed profound thanks for China’s generous gesture to assist the underprivileged residents of Gwadar.
