SUKKUR: Three killed in accident

SUKKUR, Feb 8: Three people were killed and three others injured when a speedy trailer collided with a jeep on the National Highway near Ubauro, Ghotki district, on Wednesday morning.

Those killed were identified as Mohammad Shahzad, Asghar and Haji Rasheed.

The injured, Mohammad Anwar, Nadeem and Ismail, were taken to a hospital in Ubauro. Later, Mr Ismail was shifted to a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan because of his critical condition.

The jeep was carrying six people and was on the way to Punjab from Karachi.

The jeep occupants belonged to Jhelum.

The trailer driver escaped while police impounded the vehicles.

KILLED: A teenaged boy was run over by a speedy passenger coach near the Malir village, Kandhkot, on Wednesday morning.

Manzoor Ahmad, 14, was crossing a road when the coach hit him.

The driver escaped along with the vehicle.
