KHAIRPUR, Feb 6: The Jeay Sindh Mahaz (Junejo group) held a meeting here on Monday in protest against opening of the Khokhrapar railway route. The meeting was presided over by JSM district president Naimatullah. The meeting said that the rail route was against the people of Sindh.

JSM senior deputy secretary Yasir Junejo said the route would allow illegal migrants to settle in Sindh. The meeting condemned Mehar group’s decision to support construction of dams and said the people of Sindh would launch a protest drive against it.

SUICIDE: A woman committed suicide by taking poison in the Sanghar village on Sunday night. She was identified as Jhooran, 23, wife of Ghous Bux Lashari. The motive behind suicide is said to be some domestic problems.
