Model College retain title

ISLAMABAD, Feb 3: Model College 502 Lalazar retained their Federal Board Inter-directorate cricket title defeating Iqbal Academy Taxila by 50 runs in a one-sided final on Friday.

A press release said that 502 College posted 149 runs for the loss of nine wickets and then bowled out their opponents for only 99.

Asif was the star bowler for the winners picking up five for 15 in an impressive spell. Academy’s Amir topscored with 37.

Earlier, Farooq scored 27 runs with five hits to the ropes to lead the 502 charge. Haris added 26 and Murad chipped in with 23 in the 25-over-a-side game.
