KARACHI, Feb 3: Maaz Shafi’s match-winner gave Bayview High School a narrow 1-0 victory over Beaconhouse School, Jubilee, in Karachi United school championship at DHA Football ground on Thursday.

Maaz, the man-of-the-match, found the target in the 50th minute to give his team a close win.

Two goals by Yasin Ali, Ali Bhai and an own-goal by Hasan Kazi gave Karachi Grammar School (KGS) a convincing 5-0 triumph at Southshore at the same venue.

An own-goal by Hasan in the 13th minute opened the scoring for KGS, while Yasin doubled the lead in the 43rd minute. Shahab Raza struck just four minutes later, while Danyal Alvi found the cage in the 50th minute.

Yasin sealed the fate of the match by completing his double in the 70th minute.
