LAHORE, Feb 1: The district Nazim has approved 35 city schools for starting English medium classes in addition to Urdu medium from the next academic session.

According to a notification issued by the executive district officer (Education), City District Lahore, respective heads of the institutions have been directed to take appropriate action in this regard.

The schools for introducing English medium classes are Govt High School, Shahdara Town; Central Model High School No. 2, Rattigan Road; Govt Model High School, Model Town; Govt High School, Raiwind; Govt Higher Secondary School, Ghorey Shah; Govt High School, Baghbanpura; Govt High School, Hadyara; Govt Arif High School, Mustafabad; Govt High School, Governor’s House; Govt High School, Allama Iqbal Town; Govt Pilot High School for Boys, Wahdat Colony; Govt Central Model High School, Samanabad; Govt High School, Khana Nau; Govt Muslim Model High School, Urdu Bazaar; Govt Islamia High School, Khazana Gate; Govt Muslim High School No. 2, Civil Line; Govt Islamia High School, Sheranwala Gate; Govt High School, Manga; Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Singhpura; Govt Girls High School, Ghaziabad; Govt Girls High Schools, Ranger Colony; Govt Pilot Secondary School for Girls, Wahdat Colony; Govt Girls High School, Governor’s House; Govt Girls High Secondary School, Samanabad; Govt Model Girls High School, Model Town; Govt Victoria Girls Higher Secondary School, Inside Mori Gate; Govt Girls High School, Napier Road; Govt Kinnaird Girls High School, Empress Road, Govt Girls High School, Raiwind; Govt Girls Higher Secondary Schools, Chuhng, Govt Lady Maclagan Girls High School, Govt Comprehensive Girls High School, Wahdat Road; Govt Girls High School (Ist shift), Shadbagh; Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Awan Town, and Govt Girls Higher Secondary Schools, Dev.
