KARACHI: Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), the assembler of Kia vehicles, has closed four dealership networks with immediate effect.

According to LMC’s press release, Kia Motor Hanna Lake, Quetta, Kia Motors Chenab, Gujrat, Kia Motors Avenue Dera Ghazi Khan and Kia Motors Gateway, Mardan have been closed. The statement did not mention the reason for shutting down four retail outlets. However, these four outlets were set up with the help of a third party.

On Jan 1, LMC announced the shutting down of company operated dealership, Kia Motors Shahra-e-Faisal due to the expiry of its lease agreement with the landlord which could not be renewed.
