Tarar condoles Wali Khan’s death

CHARSADDA, Jan 29: Former president Mohammed Rafiq Tarar visited Wali Bagh on Sunday and offered Fatha for the departed soul of veteran politician Khan Abdul Wali Khan.

The former president met with president of the Awami National Party Senator Asfandyar Wali Khan and expressed shock over the demise of the renowned politician. He said that the late Khan had great contributions for strengthening democratic institutions and the nation had been deprived of a sincere leader.

Former Afghan president Prof Burhanuddin Rabbani, along with a 25-member delegation, also visited Wali Bagh and expressed condolences over the sad demise of Khan Abdul Wali Khan.
