QUETTA: The Balochistan government will launch an inter-city Green Bus Service in the provincial capital from July 17.

The provincial transport department had purchased buses during the Jam Kamal Khan’s government, but did not launch the service for unknown reasons.

On Sunday, the incumbent chief minister, Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, announced the service would be launched from July 17.

In the first phase, six buses will be plying within the city for which the route has been announced while in the second phase more buses will be arranged for other routes of Quetta.
